SILK ROAD HERITAGE
Born and raised in Central Asia, my childhood was steeped in the rich traditions of my heritage, surrounded by the nurturing presence of Women who upheld the cherished textile crafts of their ancestors, with the main textile being silk. Growing up among these Women, I developed a deep-rooted pride in my roots and a strong desire to safeguard the fading craftsmanship of Women artisans.
BRITISH INNOVATION
Driven by a passion for textiles and heritage, I made a pivotal decision to move to London to pursue studies in Fashion Design and Textiles. Over the past decade, London has become my second home—a vibrant city where cultures collide and creativity flourishes. Throughout my travels in the UK, I drew inspiration from the timeless designs of William Morris and the iconic Liberty fabrics, discovering hidden gems in local vintage markets and witnessing the dedication of small textile businesses. I was particularly drawn to natural fabrics like silk, cotton and linen, which became my main focus as I explored the intersection of heritage and contemporary design.
UNIQUE, SUSTAINABLE AND LOCALLY CRAFTED DESIGNS
The vision is a testament to my multicultural upbringing and love for both traditions and innovation. I dream of blending these two worlds together, crafting unique pieces that seamlessly blend the intricate beauty of heritage with the dynamic flair of contemporary design. We source limited quantities of select fabrics and produce a limited number of items, making each item one-of-a-kind and truly special. We are committed to sustainability, aiming for zero waste in our creations and proudly supporting local production by ensuring that pieces are made in the UK.
